—I have some ideas, but I need a better description of the programme. Could you send me a more detailed description?
—We don’t have one…
—What? You work for [insert multinational corporation name here] with offices in [insert number here] continents!
—Well, we can’t share details outside [insert multinational corporation name here].
—It’s a shame, but I can’t help you there.
I work for a university and we often do good things for humanity’s sake, but I expect better communication coming from [insert multinational corporation name here]. I guess this is what a designer feels when a large company asks them to design a logo ‘because you’ll get a lot of exposure’ while giving you the barest description of what it’s supposed to represent.
